Student
life
Bethlehem
Bible College is interdenominational and is blessed to have many
church groups, both traditional and protestant, represented in
the student body. Off campus, the students participate in many
activities offered through their local churches and youth
fellowships. In addition, the College affords its students
opportunities to become involved in an array of pastimes besides
academia.
Campus
life is very busy and can find BBC students involved in various
events. Among these are charitable outreaches to the poor and needy
in the community. Once or twice a year, the College oversees food
and clothing distribution to the marginalized in our neighborhoods.
In addition, the College has spearheaded the implementation of an
annual week-long, free health clinic for persons in the community
who cannot afford health care.
The
spiritual life of the student is emphasized through bi-weekly chapel
services. Here students share their talents and gifts through music,
song, testimony, and Bible study. Student retreats and/or seminars
are also featured several times a year to build up the students in
their spiritual life formation. The students are invited to
participate in practical ministry outreaches through sports
activities, youth retreats, and summer camps.
Also,
featured at BBC is the Bethlehem Bible College Choir, which many of
our students join. The Choir has been privileged to travel on tour
to many other countries. The Choir is also very popular locally and
performs several concerts yearly. Being a choir from Bethlehem, the
birthplace of Jesus, they are privileged to be a part of the
International Choir Concert held annually on Christmas Eve at Manger
Square in Bethlehem. The BBC Choir has recorded a cassette and CD,
which is available upon request.
